Meet Our Pastor

Rev. Jon Moody graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Madison) in 1979 and was married a few months after graduation.  He and his wife Beth have two married daughters, Krista (& Tim) and Kathleen (& Chris) and are the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren.   Pastor Jon received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL) in 1998.  He was ordained by the Evangelical Free Church of America and that same year planted Hope Community Church in Hoffman Estates.  Pastor Jon served at Hope Community Church for 22 years, before moving to Fort Wayne in 2019 when he became a chaplain with Heartland Hospice.  He has been serving Park Place, Lincolnshire Place and Kingston at DuPont for the past 4 years, leading Bible studies and ministering to those nearing the end of life.  Pastor Jon also serves as an elder at St. Joe Community Church in Fort Wayne.

Meet Our Non-Resident Team Members

We are thankful for a ministry team made up of both residents and non-residents of Park Place. In an effort to insure the safety and protection of all residents and staff of Park Place, our team members who live off campus will all be identified by a Park Place Community Church name tag. Those displaying this name tag have undergone a background check and orientation to the facility and its policies. If at any time, a team member is not behaving in a Christ-like manner, disrespecting someone or causing problems in any way, please immediately contact the Park Place staff, our pastor, and/or the leadership at St Joe Community Church.
